The ViaJacobi is the Swiss part of the famous Euopean Camino that ends in Santiago de Compostela.
The path includes everything you would expect from a pilgrimage.
You often hike on small roads, which is not quite our thing, but that's the way pilgrim goes.
Generally the route is nice, at some points you can choose between variants.
We splitted the hike into 3 pieces, most of it we did in winter, which was a good decision.
We were pretty much alone. The downside was, that a lot of things were closed.
We met very friendly people along the way, the locals are used to the pilgrims.
If you like pilgrimage, this could be something for you!
On the "Schweizmobil" page you find all the details.
